Laila Likes...Products worth the hype!

I try my best to read at least a handful of reviews before buying a product, especially ones that are on the higher price range. There are a select few products that have a certain buzz, a recognized hype surrounding them, here are a few that are just as amazing as the reviews rave.

The first and possibly my favourite, the Soleil Tan de Chanel. Firstly, please don't ask me to even pronounce this properly, my year 9 French has well and truly been lost haha! This bronzer instantly gives me that healthy, 'I've spent a week in the south of France' look. It transforms my face and adds the most natural colour. It has become one of my absolute favourite products. When I first opened it, I must admit I was a little worried about a possible overdose of orange, however this product gives a beautiful and buildable complexion with a radiant finish.

The second product is the Bioderma Crealine TS H20 Micelle Solution. Although it is a mouthful to say, it is such a simple and calming product on the skin. I bought this on Escentual when it was on sale over the boxing day period. After the first use I understood the massive hype as it removed every trace of makeup that was on my skin. This product is a game changer!

The fourth product definitely has to be the Xen-Tan Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe. I'm the first to admit, the amount of times I previously have got fake tan completely wrong has been far too many! Although this was partially my fault for not prepping the skin correctly, the main culprit of the failures was the wrong product. I would always opt for a cheap and hopefully cheerful self tan product. This always resulted in patchy and orange skin. I have now learnt the errors in my ways haha.

The final product that I think is amazing and deserves the praise it constantly gets is the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. Believe it or not, but I first tried and bought this product when i was in year 8, quite a few years ago. I've repurchases many times since as the consistency has the perfect glossy but non sticky feel for my lips. The sweet sugary, vanilla smell is also very nostalgic to my school years. The packaging has changed a little bit which you can see from the pictures and there have been a few more shades added, my favourite is #5 Candy Shimmer.

Laila Likes... To try something new!

Hi, welcome to my blog!

My name is Laila, I've just recently turned 20 years old and am currently in my second year at university studying English Literature.

After reading my favourite blogs for a few years and having a love for all beauty and fashion related things, I thought why not try something new and start my own blog. A little help from Viviannadoesmakeup and Lilypebbles aided the creation of this blog with their recent helpful guides on getting started.

My blog will share my likes and loves of the moment, outfit posts and any beauty and fashion related post of the moment.

Any feedback would be great, please comment and enjoy!
